In Brian Mark's excellent publication "HIBERNIAN FC - THE WAR YEARS 1939-1946" (Archways Promotions,1994) goalkeeper Jimmy Kerr is described as follows "... showed early on that he would make the grade at the very highest level of the game."

Won the league with Hibs in 1947/48.

Latterly served the club as a Director. (edited by moderator)
